Gents,
When do you expect to be able to release a native version for Joomla 1.5?
Cheers ws
Hi,
ASAP, I admit all work runs slower in summer🙂 but we try to do our best, we care to have a version to run very smooth on 1.5, I expect this to be with V2.3 stable or alittle after it.
Cheers
Max

ChronoMyAdmin: Database administration within Joomla, no phpMyAdmin needed.
ChronoMails simplifies Joomla email: newsletters, logging, and custom templates.
Talking along the lines of Joomla 1.5, I'm a bit new to Joomla in general and have gone the 1.5 route instead. Which files should I download for 1.5?
Should I be downloading "ChronoForms Mambot" or is that completely useless for a 1.5 guy like myself?
Thanks,
Tony
Hi tblanco,
ChronoForms 2.3RC1 doesn't support Joomla 1.5 - Max has said that there will be a future release that will support Joomla 1.5
That said, you can get 2.3RC1 to run on Joomla 1.5, you need legacy support on and probably some small changes to the xml installation file.
There is also a problem with Joomla 1.5 installations with Magic Quotes ON - you can see the setting in the Admin system pages. This causes repeated escapes to be put into the ChronoForms code entries and you start to see code with \\\...\ all over the place. It will work OK with Magic Quotes OFF - which is a PHP installation setting. We don't yet have a better workaround for this problem.
There may be other problems with 1.5 but I don't recall anything else being mentioned here.
Bob
PS You only need the mambot if you want to put ChronoForms forms in Joomla content pages. I have no idea if this works with 1.5.
