SSL in Joomla 1.5.20

I'm still using the OLD ChronoForm V 2.5 and had no problem working in 1.5.15

Now, I'm working on updating a website to Joomla 1.5.20.

The https redirection to http no longer works.

In other words, http to https works but https to http no longer works, it still stays as https for the rest of the website.

What's the new code to use?

Sorry, no idea. Nothing has changed in ChronoForms so I can only assume that something has changed in Joomla! I don't rememember exactly how that version worked, I think that the current one takes it's cue from the calling URL.

I can't remember what happened but it finally works BUT there's a new problem and I know I've encountered this before but can't find the solution via search.

The page successfully goes from http:// to https://. However, it now goes from https:// to index.php? at the home page. In other words, if I got from https:// to any other pages in the website, it ALWAYS goes to the home page at xxx.org/index.php?

How do I get it to stop going to the home page?

Try my custom Google driven ChronoSearch from the link in the Tutorials menu above. I find it much better than the forum search here.
