I've been working in CF for a couple of days. Finally figured out most of it, and found the solutions I needed to complete the forms, then Apply and Save vanished from the wizard.
I can edit the form in code, and make other changes outside the wizard, but anything I do inside the wizard is just wasted effort.
This is true regardless whether I'm editing a form or creating a new one. I've made no other changes to the site (existing Joomla installation of about 7 months).
EDIT: A bit of additional information. On further review, I see that the wizard is now out of sync with the form. In attempting to get ReCaptcha working, I deleted a form element (image verification) in the code and replaced it with {ReCaptcha}, which I subsequently removed. The original image verification is still showing in the wizard, but not in the code nor on the form when viewed on the website.

Hi gpseymour,
I'm not sure what is happening here.
You can create a form with the Wizard and then edit it with Wizard Edit **until** you make any manual changes in the Form HTML. After that, if you use Wizard Edit you will lose the manual changes. There is a pop-up message to warn you about this.
The missing icons are I guess some kind of JavaScript error, it's not something that I remember seeing reported before.

BOb...
THanks for the reply. I don't really see how this can be a CF error - as you said, the missing buttons looks like a JS error. However, it only appears to affect CF. I'll try it on a different machine to see if it's something in the Java install here. Failing that, I guess I'm stuck with the hosting company's support to try to suss this out in the server installation.

A bit more investigation, but no progress...
I tried a different PC, with the same result. I've verified the behavior is identical in FF and IE. I haven't found anything except CF that is affected. Does this shed any light as to where to look next?
As I said before, this is an existing installation, and CF worked fine until it suddenly didn't.

I'm facing the same problem. Was the cause ever found?
Hi seank.work,
In that case he was looking for the icons at the top left corner of the screen but the Wizard save icon is the disk icon above the box where you put the elements.
