time out error

Hello,

My chronoforms are working great - thanks for the great component.

I only have one small problem - when web visitors are filling out a long form they sometimes
get a 'registration timed out' error and I can't see how/where to fix this.

Hi Russ,

It depends how long is long. You can extedn the default Joomla session length in your Site Global Configuration (default is 15 minutes); or you can break the form up into chunks so that there are more frequent submissions; or you can add a 'keepalive' script snippet (the code is here somewhere).

I suggest you use the keepalive script snippet. Based from my experience, when I divided the forms, it slowed down my server. Well, just a piece of advice. Hope you fix it.
