Case Sensitive Security image not sensitive

I noticed putting in the security code is not case sensitive but thought it's supposed to be? For example: The code is: 45Thf but if you enter 45thf **lowercase t ....it lets it go through. This is on your latest 3.1 RC5.5

Any idea why this would happen?

It's never been case sensitive. You could hack the code to make it so if you wanted to.
