I am new to Joomla and have tried installing Chronoforms...the plug-in isn't showing up in the plug-in manager so I cannot enable it nor does chronoform show up under the components menu.
When installing received the following errors:
It was not possible to copy the selected files - referred to the chronocontact.php file - I have since corrected this error.
This mambot must have ChronoForms Componenet in order for it to work. You just need to put the name of the form you want to show between: {chronocontact]&{/chronocontact}, Example: {chronocontact}form1{/chronocontact} where form1 is the form name which will be displayed!!
Have tried doing this but no success. Is there something else that I should do?
The module installed fine and has been enabled. Would greatly appreciate the help to sort out why it won't work.

Hi LynelleR,
I'm confused about what is installed or not. It sounds as though only the Plugin/Mambot is correcly installed and published?
Is the ChronoForms component installed and working? Have you created a form? You also refer to the Module but I'm not sure that's what you mean?
There are three separate parts to ChronoForms:
The component, which you must have and will show up in the Components menu. You will need to create a form here.
The plugin/mambot that lets you include forms inside articles.
The module that lets you show forms in the template module boxes around the articles in the center.

Okay, sorry to have confused you. I performed the installation and in the module manager within Joomla it says that that Choronoform is there and I have enabled it. However, it does not appear on the component menu so I cannot create any forms as I have no way of accessing the module.
This was the error message when I installed the extension...
"It was not possible to copy the selected files - referred to the chronocontact.php file (I have since corrected this error)

I don't know what is wrong or how to fix.
Cheers,
Lynnelle
