traveljack 11 Feb, 2010
I have recently updated some text and contact detail
"You are welcome to call us on our Cape Town telephone number: +27 0 (21) 790 1018. "
on
http://atlanticseaboardtourism.co.za/index.php/contact-us
was replaced. in the administration console with new contact detail. 'n did this under eEmail template. Saved and a few days ago still not showing the updated information. The form is published, and I published it again.

Hi traveljack,
The email template editor only alters the email templates - which is only used to construct the email sent once the form is submitted. To alter the content of the actual form, you'll have to edit the Form code (or Step 1 - "design your Form" in the Wizard/Wizard Edit).

Also remember to save your changes (if using the form editor), or Apply + Save (if using the Wizard Edit). Once saved, the changes should take immediate effect - no need to republish the form or waiting a few days.

Hi traveljack.

I see the revised text. so I guess that the previous version was cached on the site, your browser, or possibly by your ISP.

Hi Bob,
That's odd, I still see the old "You are welcome to call us on our Cape Town telephone number: +27 0 (21) 790 1018." details, which I understand was to be replaced..

Hi nml375 and Greyhead, thanks got that right now (that was hidden away that code). I was just about giving up on ChronoForms. First time I am working with CF.

Also having a issue:

When I enable spam verification, there is no image and text box showing, when you hit enter it gives an error and you cant procede to submit the form; At the moment I have dissabled the verification, but the client wants this to be active.

If I link to
http://www.atlanticseaboardtourism.co.za/components/com_chronocontact/chrono_verification.php
it is showing the captcha pic, so i guess GD is installed correctly.

Any ideas
I suppose I need t read the manuals. But when I downloaded the PDF's the files were corrupted. Any ideas of other good basic instructions.

Thank you guys you realy saved me many hours.

ps: Never too old to learn and never too shy too ask.

Hi traveljack,
In the Wizard Edit->Step 1 there is a control named "Captcha". Drag and drop this onto your form layout (If you are using form edit instead, add a line saying {imageverification] to your form code).

Hi traveljack,

If the pdfs are showing up as corrupted then the most likely reason is that your version of Adobe reader is a bit out of date. You can get the latest version free from the Adobe.com site.
