Dateformpicker Issues

krackerjax 07 Feb, 2010
For some reason the datetimepicker will not work. I even tried it in a very simple form that I used the wizard to create. one text box and one datetimepicker box. I have already checked the following:

General tab - Load ChronoForms CSS/JS is clicked to YES. Date format, I've tried everything. Default was d/m/Y. I've also tried d-m-Y, d/m/y, d-m-y, Y-m-d. Dates Name Field matches with the id and name in the form (Form Code). It also matches with what is in the "Autogenerated Code" tab.

It's not a browser issue as I encounter this in IE8 as well as Firefox. For some reason a week ago when I did a test form with dateformpicker it work with no issues.

Hi krackerjax,

Please can you post a link to a form that isn't working?

Hi krackerjax,

It doesn't look as though the ChronoForms script files are being loaded at all.

I'm not sure if the calendar files are separate from the other script files so please try turning on "Load Chronoforms CSS/JS Files?" on the form General tab.

It was already set to "Yes." Therefore it was already turned on and supposed to be loading the files. I had even tried setting to No, log out, clear cache, log back in, and set to Yes.

I've managed to fix it. I checked on one of my other sites that runs Joomla and ChronoForms. My other site is not heavily modified as this one is. I created a simple form, datapicker and a textarea. It didn't work there.

So, another one of my sites didn't even have ChronoForms installed. So, I downloaded the component, installed it, and created a simple form. Voila! It worked. I backed up my forms on the site that had the problem, uninstalled ChronoForms, and reinstalled it. That worked.

For the life of me I can't figure out what was the problem. The version I downloaded was the same exact version that was already installed. Oh well, I'm just so happy that it works now.

I guess now I'll be playing around with creating a form for CB registration. The default CB registration form is so... CB looking..
