Hi ugly,
The perennial plugin question - is it enabled on the Form Editor plugin tab?
Bob
Hi Bob,
The form editor plugin tab , is showing 'Image size and thumbnail' with a green tick against it. So it looks enabled.

Hi Ugly,
No - that's just a really bad piece of interface design.
Red bar = disabled
Green bar = enabled;
Tick = click to enable
Cross = click to disable.
Bob
Thanks Bob, sorted! Can I run one last query by you? I would like the generated image file name not to carry any sort of prefix or suffix, such as _big, _small, _medium, that seem to get automatically generated. I would like the new generated file to overwrite the original image file and just assume its name. Can this be done?
Hi Ugly,
Yes I think that you can leave the prefix & suffix fields empty and the name will remain unchanged (you need some kind of distinguisher if you have more than one size).
Bob
Thank you for your patience and taking me through this Bob. I'm having a problem with the sufix field, I just can't remove it, after each save the '_med' suffix keeps appearing, the problem does not exist with the prefix field. I then end up with a file like "myimage.jpg_med" .In other words the suffix is added to the file extension!
Hi ugly,
I have an updated test version of the plugin that I know is working on another site. I'll get a copy for you first thing in the morning.
Bob
Hi ugly,
Here are my updated versions of the plugin and the plugin helper. Please un-zip and copy the plugin to components/com_chronocontact/plugins/cf_image_resize.php and the helper to administrator/components/com_chronocontact/plugins/plugin.php
I suggest that you rename the existing files first so that you can revert if necessary. The helper file *should* be backward compatible with other plugins but there's always a possibility that something won't work as it should.
Bob
Thank you so much Bob, it works fine!!!
Hi Bob,
I have the same problem with ChronoForms 4.0.1 (7.October.2013)
There is a solution?
Best Regards
Gioacchino
Ops.
ok, it works online.
Regards.
