Hi everyone,
I'm really appreciative of the work done with chronoforms, just like to learn more advanced techniques and find out what kind of custom elements you guys have been making. Could you show us some examples?
*special note to greyhead - need not reply if too busy, hair's grey enough already!
brgds,
JT

Hi jt,
I think I've only ever seen one custom element (maybe 2) posted here ?!

Hi greyhead,
Thanks for your reply. My sentiments exactly when I searched the forum for custom elements.
The standard set of elements are quite comprehensive, however at times I wonder if I could customise an element to my liking, particularly the date/calendar element where flipping through the years on the calendar heading can prove onerous. e.g. if the year of my birthday falls on 1967, I'm not going to enjoy very much flipping slowly through the months starting from 2009. I reckon others may face a similar issue. Perhaps a multi-holder with drop boxes for day, month and year? Perhaps it could be done through custom elements?

Hi Johntan,
I don't like the aeron calendar much either. In some ways the standard Joomla one is better. There are though some settings that you can add to the box on the Form General Tab to add <> arrows under the months and years.

Thanks Greyhead,
I'm sorry but I can't find the setting you mentioned. Within the general tab of the form, under date fields setting? Please see attachment of my backend.

Hi johntan,
There's an entry you can add to the date fields extra box. You'll need to search the forums for it. I'm off on holiday and don't have time to looknow, sorry.
