Retain info in the form if a mistake is made

When someone fills the form and there is a mistake and go back, they have to refill the info, is there a way to retain info, I am not sure what it is called in technical terms, thanks

On the form General Tab set "Republish fields if error occured" to 'Try to Repusblish'
