I installed ChronoForms v3.1 RC5.0.
How do Validate Installation?
Hi ramil.achm@mail.ru,
Does it work?
And why did you install such an old version?
Bob
In Back-End write:
Your Chronoforms install at rtest.spb.su.swteh.ru is NOT Validated, No limited features but for a small fee you get link free forms and help us continue the development and support.
It's mean what I need Subscriptions????(->http://www.chronoengine.com/subscriptions.html)
Hi ramil,
Sorry it doesn't work for you.
The current release from that download page is RC5.5
Bob
While the ChronoForms_V3.1_RC5.5 showed "Not Validated" ,too.Mr. Bob,What can I do?
I have the same question here, but can't make out what the answer is.
I have installed ChronoForms_V3.1_RC5.2. Have set up a form and added the link to an article, but I get 'Object not found'. when I click on it from the website on the browser.
Is this because I have not validated the installation?
Do I have to validate the installation?
I need a licence key to do this, where do I get this key?
Do I have to pay a fee to get a licence key?
I notice you said "No limited features but for a small fee you get link free forms and help us continue the development and support." I'm not sure what link free forms means?
A lot of questions I know, but I would appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks
Okay. I figured out how to show the file from an article in Joomla. I had copied the link showing in Forms Management index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=Website. I added the form to a menu and copied the url from there, which has the Joomla ID, and that works.
I would still like an answer to the Validate Installation question.
Many thanks.
Hi aussiegirl,
You get a license key from the Subscriptions tab up above. There used to be a graphic at the top right to say that but it's gone walkabout in my browser.
RC5.2 is not the latest release, curious about why you installed that, you might want to upgrade to the latest version.
Bob
My mistake. The version is RC5.5.
Thanks for your help
Hi I,ve gotten V3.1 Rc5.5 and validated (i.e I paid the few $/€ ,happy so far) and I can get the form to work in the debug, but when I link the form in an article in Joomla it comes up with the usual "Oops! This link appears to be broken"
Any suggestions
Hi patsyedgers,
How are you linking the form to the article? The 'correct' way is to use the ChronoForms Mambot/Plugin available from the downloads are here.
