mail don't work

Hi,
I just installed chronoforms 3.0 on joomla 1.5.14.
The mail setting I did look everything good.
I activate mail resul and everythig look perfect.
But mail don't work. Any idea?

Can I istall the new version? or I have to pay again?

how I do the upgrade?

I need of unistall the 3.0 and and after install 3.1?

or there is an elegant way?

Hi justoneweek,

There's no automatic way to upgrade from 3.0.

Backup the database tables and make backup copies of all of your forms.

Uninstall the old version and re-install the new one.

Recreate your forms - you may be able to restore them one at a time and edit the results. Or you can open up the cfbak file in a text editor and copy and paste the main code blocked 'formhtml' etc. into a new form. It doesn't take long.

Reconfigure and test your new forms.

Check your chronoforms data tables - chronocontact_form_name and make sure that they are OK.

That's it.

PS If in any doubt test work through process of making new versions on a test installation of Joomla then backup the amended forms from there and restore into the upgraded ChronoForms on the live site.
