Speial Chars (ä,ö,ü,ß etc.) in Checkbox Option not saved

kollo 27 Sep, 2009
hy there!

i've made an from for input product data. there are some checkbox options for the specs.
if there is a ä, ö, ü, ß, ° in the option text, this would not be saved. if i use the html encoding like ä it works until i edit the form and save it again. (in a textfield i can input everything and it would be saved.)
what is to do that the options field in the form wizard displays the option value in raw text? why are special chars not be saved?

Hi kollo,

I don't know the cure for this - it's probably something deep in Max's JavaScript :-(

The workaround that I use is to only use the Wizard to create the first draft of my forms and after that edit them in the Form HTML editor where special characters are preserved correctly.
