Blank page when opening ChronoForms

Hello, I installed Chronoforms fine, but when I try to open Chronoforms I get a blank page (in Chrome, in Firefox it tries to save the index.php file). What is causing this and/or what is the solution? :?
I installed the same ChronoForms on another site without any problem!

Any help is really appreciated!!

Hi birdy,

A couple of possibilites. The extension tries to use an RSS link to update a 'daily tip' using RSS. If the connedtion cant' be made there can be problems. There are instructions here for disabling the Daily Tip.

Sometimes there can be JavaScript conflicts - this most happens with an upgrade when older ChronoFormws scripts are still cached.

Or you may have a faulty installation, rare but possible.

But how do I turn of the Daily tip when I can't get to /administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact?
(is it being saved in the database or in a file? and which one)

Furthermore I found out that some of menu-items are working, and some not:

these links that are working:
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=form_wizard (but when I try to save, again the same problem; trying to save index.php (FireFox) or a blank page (Chrome))
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=wizard_elements
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=menu_creator
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=menu_remover
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=validatelicense

en these are giving trouble;
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&act=all
/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=doupgrade

Any idea what it could be?

This is the first ChronoForms that I installed on this website, so I shouldn't be troubled by a caching thing.

The instructions to disable the Daily Tip are here.

Try that but this looks more like a broken installation to me.

Thanks! This helped me too! After I trensferred the site from test environment to production on different server (& different host) I could not access anymore. With thi shelp it works again. Nice work!
