CSS not loading

msm_portata 25 Jul, 2009
The labels are not aligning correctly on my form. I tried it on FireFox3 and IE7. I verified that the "Load Chronoforms CSS/JS Files?" is set to Yes. I ran the Transform Form with the Default and with Theme 1. It still did not align. I verified that the style1.css file existed in the right place and is readable. I then noticed that the page's HTML had no reference to the css file, so the problem is a page generation problem. Any idea as to why?

The Form version is 3.1 RC5.1

Hi msm_portata,

I don't know why but the ChronoForms CSS & JS files do not appear to be loading.

Try setting Load drop-down to No, Apply the change then reset it back to Yes and Save the Form again.

I tried disabling, saving, and re-enabling the "Load Chronoforms CSS/JS Files" without luck. I also backed up the form, deleted it, and restored it -- no go. It is odd int hat the form used to align OK wich meant that the HTML had a referecne to the CSS file to get them to load OK.

I'll try upgrading from ChronoForms RC 5.1 to 5.3

I'm now having the same problem. The default CSS isn't loading and neither are my overrides that I've placed in the Form Code tab. I had the problem with Mootools crashing IE7 and IE6 when people tried to checkout of our store and I made some modifications to fix that problem. I didn't check the forms at that time but I wonder if that could be related.

Ok, I did the same thing and now my styles are back but I'm wondering why this would have stopped working in the first place. Things are so connected in Joomla it seems that fixing one thing breaks something else.
