After inserting a dynamic field into email container, when you focus, or place cursor in field, a box used to popup and let you check the field you created in your form. This no longer functions.
i believe this error is DIRECTLY related to the form not sending results. The "setup emails" wizard is not functioning correctly and thus causing emails not to send.
finally got the form to send, but i had to delete all email fields and start over. wish i knew the cause of all these problems

From what I've seen so far most of it is down to user error. ChronoForms is deceptively simple - you can create a simple form and email in two minutes, provided that you follow some basic common-sense rules. Start simple, get something working, then modify it and check as you go along.
ChronoForms is also one of the most complex and powerful apps available for Joomla and gives you the ability to create forms or interactive pages that are very rich and have many features. To use this level you do need a better that average knowledge of Joomla, PHP, MySQL, Javascript and Chronoforms. And you have to be prepared to experiment and find ways of getting the results that you want.
The combination of these two means that it is quite easy to step off the safe path and create forms that don't work as you expect. This is rarely a result of a bug in ChronoForms (there are some from time to time, but Max is pretty good at fixing them once they are clearly identified).
Fredrik, myself and other users here spend quite a lot of time helping people sort out problems and find ways to get the results they want. You could say that I spend far too much time on this.

If its any consolation, I am a web developer, designer, and seo specialist and I spend a ton of time on support, many times helping local organizations at no charge to help my community. So i feel your pain.
I do research before i post an issue. Somehow, my forms are working. I'm not sure what i did besides start over.
So i understand the time you guys put in. However, I feel that Chrono is a great comp or i would not be back. I do a lot of beta testing for people's apps and help make them better. I only do this for the ones i believe in and stand behind.
