Tooltips don't work when menu isn't displayed! ~wierd~

Hi,

I noticed something very strange this evening. During an earlier stage of developing the site i'm currently working on, i produced a test form called ProjRecord, just trying out Chronoforms for the first time, seeing how it worked, in the mod_chronocontact module, i created a connection to the ProjRecord form, and checked "all" under Menus. Consequently, the test form i'd created always displayed at the bottom of the left hand menu.

Since those test stages i've been working on another form "SubmitProject". At the moment it looks like a plain ol' form labels, input fields, a few tooltips. But tonight when i noticed that i'd left the ProjRecord form hanging there on the left hand menu, when i went to the mod_chronocontact and check "disable", and also when i checked "menus - none", for some reason my new SubmitProject record went very strange and the tooltips didn't display properly.

The tooltip icon stopped responding to having the mopusepointer hovering over it, and instead the tooltip text was displaying on the form below the input label.

i've attached screenshots of it work, and after it went funny.

This has got me curious more than anything else - if anyone can explain what's going on it should be very helpful for my understanding of how it all works... cheers

Hi buckwheatpie,

I think that you have "Load Chronoforms CSS/JS Files?" set to Yes for the ProjRecord form and 'No' for the Submit Project Form. When ProjRecord is displayed the files are loaded and both forms can use them.

So the difference you see is whether these files are loaded or not.

Thank you!

I vaguely remember now seeing some advice somewhere that said "if you're unsure, it's better to set Load JS/CSS to Yes" - now i can see a reason why...
