Issue between ChronoFormsV3.1RC5.3 and ChronoConV2_RC1

maxxoros 09 Jul, 2009
Well, the newest version of chronoform bring some issue with V2RC1 of Chrono Connectivity, here is listing

1. Create new connection, has been mentioned by many
2. In show data mode of each connectivity, New record and Edit command return the global admin page and do nothing. This is the severe issue and need be fix ASAP
3. I believe even if the new record running in some way, we could not upload file in back-end

Could you look into these

Thanks

PS: In Issue #2, I use Save Button to save database and It does not upload file. The submit button do NOTHING.

Hi Maxxoros,

Just running a quick check on this (we need a ChronoConnectivity test connction).

1) Confirmed - the OnSaveJSCode error has not been fixed in the current download.

2) I get my selected ChronoForm displayed for both New Record and Edit (note that ChronoForms is now required to use ChronoConnectivity).

3) I haven't tested file upload in the back or front end.

Hi maxxoros,

The form is displayed in the admin for me - but doesn't appear to save.

I'm having a similar problem -- I cannot save or edit a new connection and am on the latest CF and ChronoConnectivityV2_RC1.

Is there any solution to this? I've already gone in and made the OnSaveJSCode edit.

This appears to be dead in the water. I get no error messages.

I really want to use ChronoConnect. as it's a perfect solution for what I need (in combo with ChronoForms).

Thank you...

Hi vivking,

No idea - the New Connection opens and saves OK for me, just the admin edit forms don't. (And I believe that Max has a fix for this problem.)

Please PM or Email me a SuperAdmin logon if you like and I'll take a quick look.

Hi Vivking,

I just logged in to your site and have created a couple of new connections without any problems (using FF 3.5 & IE8). Please delete them when you've had a look as they don't do anything useful.

Please try clearing your browser cache in case there is some old JavaScript still hanging around from the previous version.
