Registration: Not creating new username and password

kidnthehall 30 Jun, 2009
hey guys, i came on here as a last resort. i am creating a test site with a simple registration form. i was able to finally install the plugin that directs the joomla "create and account" button to my chronoforms registration page. after that however, i am at a loss as how it is supposed to recognize the username and password that was created after they register. i did follow the instructions in the pdf very closely and all of the required fields are identical to the tutorial. is there something i'm missing? right now it says:
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

right now, i still just have the blank page loading after they register. i was going to figure that out after i tackle this larger issue. i appreciate all of you help!!

Hi kidnthehall,

please install Chronoforms V3.1 RC5.2 and configure the Joomla registration plugin and set show Joomla messages to yes and retest and let me know what you see after you submit the form!

thanks max. when i install it, do i need to uninstall my existing version? or when i install this, will it upgrade? i did finally get this to work, but i'd rather have a more simple set up in case i have to do it again
