Hi Gilles,

There is nothing special about the ChronoForms installation - it looks as though something may have gone wrong with your local installation. Please try to re-install again, If you are using RC5.0 then you can re-install without uninstalling.

Thanks,
I tried to re-install but I didn't resolve the problem.

Have I to use the "Legacy"? If I try to use the plugin "Legacy" (in Extension>plugin manager>system legacy) the Installation works well but when I try to open the "Forms Management" of Chrono it doesn't work.

I'm using a Mac OS X, with MAMP PRO, PHP Version 5.2.5

Hi Gilles,

No legacy plugin required to install or run.

No real idea what is happening - it works fine in Windows and on *nix so maybe it's a Mac thing but no-one else has reported it.

I'm guessing that this is a local site? If not, send me a Superadmin login and I'll take a quick look.

We have this exact same issue in a server environment as well.

3.0 is working perfectly, with 3.1RC5 the forms management page is not accessible (blank).

Help!

Hi,

I ma also having this problem with ChronoForms , running MAMP and developing local host.I am using RC5, and running on MAMP with all the usual.

Its like its almost wanting to work..

I cannot access the Forms Manager, as it doesnt display. If I enable the legacy plugin, I get something, but its the newsfeed of the new plugins available? nothing else.

I followed instructiona above, but still nothing.

Hi Mark,

This seems to be mainly a Mac problem which means that I have no idea at all. Have you enabled Web Sharing as Gilles suggested?

Bob

Hi Mark,

YOUR SITE ADMIN/index2.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=form_wizard

Yes the formwizard I get to, the other no.

its the task=all i thnk that it doesnt like?
Max_admin 18 May, 2009
Then I think it may be a problem with the RS feed we load, try to open this link:

http://www.yoursite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_config&controller=component&component=com_chronocontact&path=

replace yoursite.com with your website path and at the screen which comes up choose "Disabled" and hit Save, then retry to access Chronoforms forms manager and let me know what happens!

np.

Other Feed back is I am using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042315 Firefox/3.0.10, and your forum is taking ages to post. My other post is still submitting, and you already answered...??

The same will happen here.

Am really looking forward to getting into chrono now..!!

Hi marksmith,

The forum is sometimes a little slow or unresponsive but at the moment is running without any delay. I don't think this is anything more than occasional server load. I have know it timeout when I open twenty tabs at once but otherwise it's pretty reliable. If you are seeing these delays consitently then something else maybe wrong.
