Just created a form using RC5.0 and everything looks ok. Clicked on the link in form management which took me to the page with the form I had just created. Filled in the firm... clicked submit... and received an email with the results almost instantaneously. So far so good.
Then I embedded the form in an article {chronocontact}formname{/chronocontact} and sure enough the form shows up exactly where it should. I fill in the form and click submit and ... NOTHING. No email, no sign that the form was ever submitted (forms management / table results), nothing in the db !!!!
What am I missing / doing wrong? Is this a setting issue?
Please help... Thanks
More work on this issue has revealed the following...
If I insert image verification into the form (captcha...} the image verification works does not show on the form embedded in the content page. It's as if Elements contained in {} were disabled. Does this have something to do with a JCE setting? (FYI the Chrono plugin is in first position in the content section of plugins).
Hi brownrock,
Can you post a link to the Form page?
I don't understand the (captch. . .} bit - I think that you use {imageverification} for the standard ChronoForms captcha code.

Hi brownrock,
Everything in both forms looks fine. I know that Max has changed the way that the Plugin works for this release but I don't know what he's done (no time to go code digging yet). Hopefully he'll be able to offer some suggestions.
Bob
I hear you. Thanks for taking a look. Hopefully Max will have something to add although to look at the forms you wouldn't know that one works and the other doesn't.
I have this exact same problem on my real estate site. I will wait along with you for a reply because as you are, I am interested also in resolving this problem when the forms are placed inside the Joomla! content.
Hi all,
Everything is fine here so please double check you have the same versions of the component and the plugin installed!

Max

Hi Max,
What exactly do you mean when you say "everything is fine here"?
Are you able to tell from your end if the form is actually being submitted and the email is being sent?
or
Are you simply saying that the form shows on the page and can be completed and submitted?
My point being that to all intents and purposes the forms on both pages look identical and appear to work
BUT
the form embedded in the content page does not actually get emailed (unlike the other which works fine)
Hi brownrock,
I thought we fixed this in the private emails ?
Cheers

Hi CuriousG,
are you using the same Chronoforms version for the component and the plugin ?

Hi Max,
I'm obviously "missing a beat". I thought our email exchange was about issuing an updated license. I did install the updated "licensed" files. The problem I'm describing above happened after I installed the licensed files. Are you saying that the solution to this problem lies somewhere in those files? Sorry for being so thick but as my aunt used to say "I understand quickly if you explain slowly!!!"
Hi brownrock,
please drop me an email through the contact us page and we will check this together!
