I installed and tried using Chronoforms version 3 on my joomla 1.5.9 site. I could not get the form to send form results to recipient. So I decided to just use the core Joomla contact component only to realize that messages sent through that are not being delivered to recipients either. I testing by making myself a receiver of message and never received. Does chronoform write to the core contacts component and fundamentally change it in any way?
I tried uninstalling chronoforms and see that there is still a "Form Results" tab, showing up in core Joomla Contacts component which indicates that it could be effecting the functionality of the core joomla contacts component.
Thank you for your help!
Janet

Hi Janet,
No - there are no core code changes from ChronoForms that I am aware of and does not add a Form Results tab to the Joomla Contact component.
Please check the email tutorial from the DownLaods area here to get your ChronoForms emails configured correctly. ChronoForms uses the standard Joomla mailer and if your site can send emails then so can ChronoForms.
