using google maps with a form

drgoettel 08 Apr, 2009
Hello to everybody,
I'm new in this forum.
I have created a form in joomla 1.5 with the last version of chronoforms and I'd like to add something like this at the end:

{mosmap width='500'|height='400'|lat='40.392319'|lon='-3.769727'|zoom='15'| zoomType='Large'|zoomNew='0'|mapType='Map'| showMaptype='1'|overview='0'|text='<b>Aldigraf</b><br>Via de los Poblados 17'|lang=''}

it's the code to the google maps plugin. Is it possible to do it??
If don't maybe another workaround is to add something like this {chronocontact}formularioContacto{/chronocontact} inside an article. When doing this nothing appears but the same string. No interpretation of it. I've been reading in the forum some posts. I cannot enable any chronoforms plugin because It isn't inside the plugin manager. I don't even find any plugin inside downloads section.

Anybody can help me?

thankyou very much

Edit:I use Joomla! 1.5.9 Production/Stable and ChronoForms V3.0 Stable.
I have downloaded ChronoForms Mambot_V0.9_V3.1RC2 and installed it via administrator pannel but I cannot see the plugin to enable it at plugin manager.

Hi drgoettel,

To use a PlugIn inside ChronoForms you need to set Enable Plugins to Yes at the bottom of the General Tab.

Hi allanbeth,

Please click the form name link in the Forms Manager to see it.

I have no Enable Plugins under the General tab of the form. last items are the Datepicker settings.

Granted i'm probably being really stupid here, i just don't see it?

Hi allanbeth,

That was ChronoForms v3 back in 2010. In ChronoForms v4 there's a Joomla! Plugins action that you can drag into the On Load action of your form. Make sure to drag it up before the Show HTML action.

Thanks bob,

i have added the Joomla Plugin action to the onLoad event but still can't get the map plugin to display, all it shows is the plugin code.

The plugin works fine in an article

any ideas what i'm missing?

allan
