Form and Email Security

stanhook 30 Mar, 2009
I have the form set up on a secure server. But I have a question about the email being sent out. The email that goes out contains all of the information (CC, Date, Sec. Code, etc.). Is the information being transmitted through email to the person filling out the form and to my client un-secure? If so, how do I protect that email? Or, is there a way to leave the information on the server to be viewed another way?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Stan,

of course this is very insecure, Its not a good idea to email such a critical data, even if the email is sent in a secure way!

saving these data to the DB is not a good idea too, unless you have a very secure environment and ready to keep it safe!

Cheers
