How to 'emulate' the Login in joomla?

Hi friends, my contact form and register form are working ok;
but now i want to use the Joomla mod_login, so the users who registered can login.
So how can i do that?

The second part of my question its about profile: suppose you are logged in, and
there is field like 'your profile' and i like to that contains other information about
the user (like age, or city, or waht ever), i have to do a new form with all the fields
I want and call form_profile, and the lock with "Profile Page"?

I dont know if i ask some stupid question, but its all i got!!!
