ImageVerification doesn't work

hi,

I'm testing the chronoforms and I have a problema with the image verification. not see the image. Follow the instructions in FAQ 30 but did not work. trying to enter the requested address (... / components / com_chronocontact / chrono_verification.php)... the image appears and no error.

Anybody know how to solve this problem

Hi sergioigel,

If the image shows up in the test then possibly there's a problem with the url on the page.
What url is showing there? Is the page on-line so we can look?

I'm having the same problem. On the anti spam tab of my forms, I do not see a sample image, which makes me assume that there is a feature in PHP not turned on. What features do I need to tell my server admin to turn on?

Hi Scott,

There are some diagnostics on the tab - what do they say please. There's also a FAQ with another test that you can try.

If the diagnositcs are all good, then the most usual problem is with file permissions.

It shows nothing. They are blank.

Hmmm it should say Yes or No . . .

Please check the PHP Info in the Admin | System Info Menu and scroll down to see if you ca see if GD is installed.

Hi Scott,

Ok - that's why there is no image. A bit strange as it's been in the default PHP installation for a while now.

A couple of options (a) check with your host and see if they can turn GD on (it's the standard PHP Graphics library) or (b) use the ReCaptcha option that's in the forums here and will work without GD.

Thanks! I asked my server admin to turn it on. So, I'm developing two Joomla sites for this company but they won't let me have server access, only Joomla administrator access. It's been kind of frustrating. Thanks for the help...
