Custom validation message

VChris 15 Mar, 2009
Now I am trying Chronoform at first time. I like it.

But there is a frustrating thing.

If I want a custom validating message, I have to go to the form html code, and I have to write title="my own message".

But if I change the form with wizard, the title attribute disappears, so I have to type it again. It's very frustrating.

Why isn't there a title property in wizard?

Or how should I make custom validating messages?

I don't understand server side validation, I don't know php.

Hi Vchris,

Iagree it's frustrating and I'm sorry but that's the way it is right now - the Wizard Edit is a new feature and was only added by Max in the recent RC versions of ChronoForms. Maybe more features will be added in a future version.

Meanwhile, if you edit your form html by hand, then you can keep all of your previous edits.

Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?

Hi Max, Hi Bob,

thanks for your quick replys. Chronoform is a really great component, I really like it, thanks for this.
Form wizard is a brilliant thing in this component.

I will be very happy if validating would be more friendly.
It is important to me because of my language (Hu).

Approx., what time will it be available?

Good luck for developing!

Regards,
VChris
