Quotation required for ticklist style uploads

mark84 26 Feb, 2009
Hi

I am constructing a website for my school which I hope will include a facility that allows pupils to upload their work. There are a set number of tasks and pupils must complete each task and upload the work related to that task. What I want is to allow each user that logs into the joomla site to go to their own unique "ticklist" which looks similar to the example jpg attached. The users, apart from myself, must only be able to access their own ticklist.

The [x] next to each file allows the users to delete uploads and each file must be downloadable. I also want these files to become unavailble for deletion after the teacher has 'locked' them and said the the work is fine and no further adjustements need to be made. Only a teacher can make comments and award marks for a piece of work in the teachers comment column. Is anyone interested in taking on this task? Can you provide me with a quotation?

NOTE: The pupil chooses to put a tick next to their task, if they are satisfied that it is completed.

Many thanks

Hi Mark,

I think this can be done with Chronoforms and/or maybe ChronoConnectivity too but its better to do it as a standalone component so its more cleaner and can be changed easily through few files, do you need any admin interface ? when do you need it ?

Cheers

Ideally there would be an admin interface. Possibly a 'category style' menu where I could list a specific Key Stage or school year, then a task menu where I could assign a task to a category(key stage/school year).I think it would also be beneficial to have a' padlock' column in the frontend which shows if the submitted work has been locked and cannot be edited - only downloaded. The teachers comment could be added frontend or backend. I think also that each file should show a last modifed date along with a date for the teachers comment, since the pupils could change the files uploaded and the teachers' comment could then become irrelevant.

I need this feature asap, although it will only be on a trial period in school until July and then implemetented fully in September.

Thanks
