Word Wrap/text size?

badutahboy 20 Feb, 2009
Hey all....

I've built my first form using chronoforms... Man, what a great, simple interface... right up until you try to plug it into a module... haha

Here's my question... my form looks like garbage inside the module I need it to go in.. As a result, I need to shrink the text size, text box height, and/or figure out how to make the text labels stay in a restrictive area with word wrapping on, so that the text boxes align with their explanation... I understand that this is controlled via CSS and tied into my templates CSS, but I'm looking to override that, and make the text smaller than my default on my template.

My site is located at <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.utahrevolution.com">www.utahrevolution.com</a><!-- w --> so you can see what I'm talking about.

I'd appreciate any help I can get... Thanks in advance

Hi badutahboy,

There's pretty much no styling being added to your form. Try adding a few lines in at the start of the form and see if you can get what you want.

Hi badutahboy,Bob,

I think that the form has no styles because its the V3.1 RC2 used with the old module, unfortunately the old module still doesn't support the new V3.1 and the form will appear in no styles there!

So, the solution is downgrade my version of chronoforms?

It'd be awesome if that would give me some control back...

I downgraded, and the form seems to be utilizing the CSS from my page now.. However, I still need to know how to play with text size and shrink the text boxes appropriately, because the form is much larger than the module box..
Ideally, I'd like to shrink the elements so that they mirror what appears in the form wizard's preview window.. IE, word wrap on the textbox labels, with the left side of all text boxes aligned evenly... Unfortunately, I've had NO luck figuring out how to edit the code to make that happen.

Anyone got any help?

Hi badutahboy,

As I mentioned before, please upgrade, and wait for the new module version, it should be after weeks, give me only a day or 2, regarding styling the form, in RC2 there is 2 solutions for this problem and you can add your own styles, you can control how your forms in the future will look like!
