undefined function

tcjay 16 Feb, 2009
All of a sudden I started receiving this error message when I clicked on the link in the form manager. I am not sure what to make of it.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: toobject() in /home/content/e/a/r/earthplanet/html/libraries/joomla/application/module/helper.php on line 146

Secondly, I had purchased a license for the prior version of Chronoform and just upgraded. Can you tell me if it applies to this ChronoForms V3.1 RC1. 🤨

Hi Tom,

Just checking - is this error after the upgrade to 3.1 or before? (I don't have 3.1 installed yet)

AFAIK the license fee you have paid covers the upgrade. Max hasn't charged for upgrades yet . . . maybe sometime if there is a really big one.

This is the latest download from the site. I think it is the 3.1 RC1. This is the link. <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.planetearthfiber.com">www.planetearthfiber.com</a><!-- w -->.

Hi tcjay,

OK - I see the error here. Are you using the ChronoForms module (I don't think it works with v 3.1 yet)?

Bob

I am not using the chronoform module. I am using connectivity on a seperate page. :?

Hi tcay,

Now I am confused. The link appears to be to a form - you have ChronoConnectivity and a form on the same page?

What's the form name please - let me see if I can take a look at it.

No, I am sorry, it is chronoforms that I am concerned with. The name of the form is Orderform. I

Hi tcjay,

If you go here you can see that the form itself is fine so there's a conflict with something else on the page. It will be a module - because the error is coming up in the module helper.

Hmm . . . I can't now see an empty page because the site is giving me 404 errors.

Yes, it is just the home page. 404 error here as well. Must be a joomla problem.
tcjay 17 Feb, 2009
It is fixed. I am turning off the modules until I find the on that is causing the problem. What do you suggest?
tcjay 17 Feb, 2009
Is there any way to tell what function it is looking for?
GreyHead 17 Feb, 2009
Hi tcjay,

What modules are enabled on the form page - I can see the menu and the Login is there anything else? (Watch out for hidden modules too with no visible output.)

You could also try disabling them one at a time until the problem disappears, that would help pin down the conflict.

I looks to me as there are many modules that cause the problem..... menus, seach, bread crumbs, generally the core modules. I disabled all of the modules and then tested them one by one. Has anyone else using Joomla 1.5 run into this problem?

Hi tcjay,

are you trying with a form restored or a fresh created form using V3.1 ? try with a fresh one ?

It is a new created in version 3.1. I upgraded and created it from scratch except for the html. I will create new one and test it out. This one worked for a while and then I started getting the undefined function message. 8)

I created a real simple for and it worked fine. I am going to going to start from scratch and create new form and I bet that is going to solve my problem. 8)
