Parameters missing?

I think I got this thing to install properly, but after the installation was finished, it said it was time to go to components-chrono comments-parameters, but the parameters option is not there. The only thing I can find under chrono comments is comments manager, and there doesn't appear to be any parameters there to fiddle with. Not even when creating a new article is there any parameter with chrono comment options.

Also, where does the language ini-file go?

What shall I do?

Another thing is that when I look at the server and under the plugin folder, there is no Chrono comment folder in there. Should there not be one?

In Joomla 1.5 the Parameters are a toolbox icon on the admin toolbar

You should have two ChronoComments files in the plugins/content folder

The language ini files go in the language/en-GB folder (or the appropriate folder for other languages)

Hi Bob, thanks so much for replying!

All I have is a chronocomments button under the components menu, as per pics below:





And when I go and have a look at the server with my FTP client, there is no chronocomment folder in my plugins folder. Needless to say, no language folder either. I am beginning to think I've not installed the things right. I downloaded and installed 3 files:
First: ChronoComments_1.2_plugin.zip
Second: mod_chronocomments_1.2.zip
Third: ChronoComments_1.2_Express_Install.zip
I got no error messages from any of those three installs. Did I do it right?

The Parameters Icon is in the Comments Manager Toolbar - see the image below.

The Plugin files are in the root/plugins/content folder

The language file goes in the root/language/en-GB folder - or the folder for your site language if it isn't English

PS A copy of the language files also goes in the corresponding root/administrator/language/en_GB folder.
