I have an article page where I embedded a chronoform using {chronocontact}RequestForm{/chronocontact}.

This article has enabled the PDF and Print Joomla icons since I want/need both capabilities. Although the print function works fine with the joomla form showing on the printout, the PDF function doesn't. It produces a PDF document with the content but then has the {chronocontact}RequestForm{/chronocontact} text, as is, in there.

I would like either the text to not show up or the form to showup.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this to work - I know it might require code changes and I'm open to making them. I just need some direction to know where to look.

As far as I know the Joomla PDF implementation if very simple and simply doesn't recognise PlugIns :-(

I don't know why that is, it surely ought to be possible to show the same info as in the print version with a bit of work.
