I uploaded FacileForms on my web site 2 years ago... I wanted to upgrade and found this new ChronoForms link. I like the options of what this program has to offer much better. I am having issues remembering how to upload. I downloaded the component, mambot and some other .zip upgrade file as required. I do not remember what to do from here. The files are on my pc but I have no idea what the next step is OR how to change from FacileForms to Chronoforms on my joomla site.
can someone give me some basic instructions?
thanks very much😟
Hi mysticregale,
install the component first, V3.0 stable if you have J1.5 site, then add your HTML, Facileforms doesn't provide HTML form so your form must be coded in HTML!

ChronoForms developer...
Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?
Hi mysticregale,
It can be messy converting Facile Forms over. I've had some success with simple forms by copying the form html from the View Source html of the form. You need to copy evrything between the <form . . > and </form> tags -but no the tags themselves, and paste the code into ChronoForms Form HTML box.
You will probably still have a lot of cleaning up to do but this should give you a reasonable start.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your thoughts but at this moment I feel pretty stupid. My first step I need is how to upload the component, mambot and other zip file. The only step I could figure out was how to download from the chronoforms site.
Whats the very next step? I am working with Joomla 1.0. Really wish there was tech support you could call. I am not 100% sure what you say to to with HTML or for tags... I do not know what these are. When I uploaded FacileForms 2 years ago, it was trial and error and took me 3 months to get the form to work.
Grr.. Help help...
Thank-you
Hi Max,
Let's take this one step at a time then. The early stages are pretty straightforward.
First off you shoudl download the tutorials 1-2 from the Downloads section here. Tutorial 1 shows you how to install ChronoForms (ignore the mambot for the moment); then Tutorial 2 shows you how to build a simple form.
Track these through and come back here to ask any questions you have.

PS I was in Burlington - not so far from Brampton a year or two back.
