I understand the reply to function on the General Tab, but is there a way when I receive this form, to click reply and have it reply to the user who submits it? They submit the form, I need to reply to them, but I've got to delete the e-mail address, then paste or type in their e-mail address. Is there a way to make this reply directly to them? Thanks, great component!

Hi Tim,

It sounds as though you have the earlier version of ChronoForms for Joomla 1.0.x

You can use the Special Fields tab to enter a form field name ( or in CF v3.0 you can set a Dynamic From Email) field to do this.

That said - I don't recommend it. Some ISPs check the From or ReplyTo fields to make sure that they match the site domain and will bounce or mark as spam any emails that don't comply. Please check carefully that this will work with your site set-up.

The alternative is to build a Reply-To link into the email template using something like

<a href='mailto:user@example.com?subject=mysite'>Click here to reply</a>

I just got it yesterday, so it shouldn't be that old. It's for Joomla 1.0.15, not 1.5. I may or may not mess with it. I just know she's going to ask me about it, and want me to find her an easier way to do it, so she don't keep replying to herself. She's on AOL so chances are they'd spam it! They spam stuff you want to keep! Thanks for everything.
