Eek! My site was working fine, and I decided to try ChronoForms.
Made a form, was looking around to learn how to access it. Made an article thinking it might attach/embed in one, added the article to a menu.
When I tried to click on the ChronoForm link, it did not work, gave an error.
I may have clicked on "profile page" under plugins.
Don't know what was done last, but I suddenly noticed my whole site cannot be accessed.
Now I get "Index of / " and a list of files in my directory! 😟
I cannot even put the site offline.
Am trying to disable ChronoForms but can't find that anywhere in components.
UPDATE: I removed "Chrono Contact" in modules... and got this error: The installer could not remove the extension as requested. Manual removal is required.
Yet ChronoForms seems gone. But my problem is not. :-( :-(

Hi Cindy,
I've never seen that before, will be interesting to see what happened. To disable ChronoForms if you can't access the site admin use PHPMyAdmin to access the database, look for jos_components and find the ChronoForms record. The last field is called 'enabled' - change it from 1 to 0. Then try to access your site again.

Hey Bob,
Glad you know you are there <phew>....I do have admin access.
The error I got in using ChronoForms, and when I try to hit a site page is: "No input file specified. "
Is this the right "enabled"? (see screenshot). I got to jos_components, but don't see ChronoForms to get to the "enabled" field...unless this is it?

Hi Cindy,
Can you access your site admin ?
Can't you see ChronoContact under Extensions > install/uninstall > components > ???
if you are seeing that index of then you probably don't have index.php in your root or its not working for some reason, FTP to your site root for now, and leave the phpmyadmin changes for a while, now at the FTP, rename this folder : components/com_chronocontact/ to com_chronocontact_old for example, if renaming it solves the problem then this is good for now and let me know, I will be away for a few hours!
you may try to clear your cache at the admin and disable any "system" plugins at the "plugin manager", I see you are having many extensions installed and a conflict may have occurred!
Regards,
Max

Hi Cindy,
See Max's post please.
To edit the ChronoContact record in PHPMyAdmin you need to click the 'Browse' tab and then scroll through the records to find it.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the effort....I have bigger problems now and have requested a backup restore
from my ISP. Consider this issue closed... unless I get back to you again.
Cheers,
Cindy

No problems, you can send me admin access to your site to look for you if you will not restore! I think there is some conflict somewhere!
