Setup Emails

Hi,

Ok I'm very new at this but is there any information out there that will help me understand what is the setup email option?

I dont' understand how that plays a role in creating a form.

Is that for me or for the person filling out the form?

Will leaving this blank affect the form working or not? If so, I did keep it blank.
