display date in datepicker result field

Display the weekday along with the date in a CF datepicker result field.

Overview

The issue was that the datepicker lacked a built-in format option to show the weekday.
Update to CF v8.0.52 or later, then use the format codes DDL, DDS, or DDN in the Calendar format string to display the weekday in long, short, or narrow format.

Hi there

I would like to ask if it is possible to have the weekday displayed along with the date when one is picked with the datepicker.

Various display formats are tested, but none of them are working: what would be the correct display format to achieve this?

Hi John

I have added this feature to the next update, v8.0.52

You can now use DDL, DDS, DDN in the Calendar format string to display the weekday in long, short and narrow formats respectively
