Email to the user

Hi,

I am using chronoforms to register the email ids of the users. Once i get the email address in the database i want to send them an email containing the link of one of my article page. I am not too good in coding through php. please help me to get this functionality done.

Actually i have made a form in which the user has to enter his/her email id. Once the user enter the email id and clicks on submit button he will get a message that a mail has been sent to your id having the link for the site. Well now i am able to do these two jobs and also i am able to send the message to the user by using the "special field >> email field" functionality of the chronoforms. I just entered the field name in the Email field text box of Special fields tab. This is just sending the user email id written and ip address. will you please tell me from where i can customize the page that is sent to the user. Please reply as soon as possible.

Hi Sarita, you customize emails through the email template field, you add there the HTML for the email body and any PHP inside PHP tags!

Thanks for the quick reply but this is not working 😟 I have put there some html code but when the email is send to the user it contains only the email id of the user and the ip addres.. 😟

Hi, what was the code you put there ? did you set email type to email template in the general tab ?
