Where/How do I customize the text area? No menu, and e.g. only allow bold and bulleted lists, count characters instead of words, and so on...
if you need full control then you better load the editor with PHP and customize the editor using javascript code
if you need to set the toolbar buttons then you can do that with the data-toolbar attribute
