Parse error

I am receiving this error on the connection management screen:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '$', expecting T_VARIABLE in /home/content/e/a/r/earthplanet/html/administrator/components/com_chronoconnectivity/admin.chronoconnectivity.php(28) : eval()'d code on line 17

I have seen another post where the name of a field had a dash in it. I have no such fields with such a format.

I had a similar error on my chronoconnector at first. It was caused by a field beginning with a numeric. See the thread here for details:
