Qbik 17 Sep, 2008
Hi,

I want to update chronoforms to v3 and i made backup of my forms made on chronoforms_2.5rc3.1
Uninstall chronoforms_2.5rc3.1 and install new version ChronoForms V3.0 Stable
try to upload old backup and... nothing show so i uninstall new version install previous but I still can upload my form from back up

Please help me with that is there any way to solve this?

Hi Qbik,

the only way to upgrade from V2.x to V3.0 at the moment is to rebuild your form, keep the important things like form code somewhere and install the new version and start adding your code and setup emails.

Hi Max
Are You planing to add functionality to upgrade from previous version in the future?
Max_admin 17 Sep, 2008
Maybe, major changes happened, but I will try to add this, upgrade is so easy if you have few forms though.

at his time i have 6 forms on site
Is there any possibility to have both version installed to copy it one by one?
Max_admin 19 Sep, 2008
Hi Qbik, unfortunately no, this is not possible, try to use some text files to copy data, Its not very hard, only the code boxes, this should not take more than 15 minutes for the 6 forms๐Ÿ™‚
