I get an error when trying you send an email to an address with a var short code. The email address is present in the arrays after I submit.
The email action is inside the "Submit" area of your form ?
Could you please show a screenshot of your debug with the vars section ?
Yes it's in the submit section
Here is the part of the VARS that shows the email address. Can you please tell me what I need to put in "Recpients" to get it to work?
your code is correct then, do you load this value into the vars BEFORE the Email action ?
Yes, I beleive so. THe email action is the last one on the Submit tab

what happens when you write {var:read_data32.EmailAddress} in the Message box ?
It works now, but I'm not sure what made it so. I noticed the message was above the email function, could that have been causing the issue? I also had to revalidate chronoforms 8 again (not sure why that keeps happening). Or maybe something else changed?
