No Submit button using CF 1.5 Beta 2...

toastguy 16 Sep, 2008
Perhaps you can explain why my form, even though it's enabled, why I can't see a SUBMIT button? And can you possibly point me to some information on storing my form results to a database? Thanks!

I noticed a Display Bug:
As a side note: Using FireFox 3, even if I could "enable" my email... the ToolBox does not properly display on the page... the bottom 2/10ths gets cut off just under "Record IP address" (when I used the wizard, it was fine)

Ah... I got it... it seems there was a Submit button that I needed to include using the Wizard. ChronoForm for BETA 2 on Joomla 1.5 has all the tools you need (it seems), but there are some things like making sure you include a SUBMIT button, and the NAME of the sender when setting up and email address that are required. Otherwise ChronoForm won't work...

ChronoForm for BETA 2 on Joomla 1.5 works fine, but you have to be somewhat knowledgeable about making sure you've done the correct setup.

Where's the tutorial on all this? JK.

If you need some help let me know... Check out Camtasia Studio. It's a really good software (you might have already used a version of it).

Three things to make a good tutorial:

1. Write down everything you want to say before you do it. ('uh' and 'hmm' are really annoying)
2. Quiet room when recording audio (to get optimal audio, you can go ghetto and get some cloth sheets to prevent echoing)
3. Annotate the areas your talking about.

You did a lot of this stuff in the old tutorials... and they were good. That's what made them good!

The other tutorials you did were good. You don't need to get fancy with the into, it looks nice, but I don't think it's necessary. Plus, you're not getting paid the big bucks to do it... With Camtasia, you can utilize a ZOOM feature. This is good if you're going to do a low-res YouTube video that you can populate and get a bunch of hits from. This could be a good traffic generator!

Did anyone figure out where that submit button is?

I didn't see it in the wizard.
