CF8 - actions/save_data can be used on the frontend after validating your install

Resolve a ChronoForms v8 save data action error on the frontend.

Overview

The error occurs because the save data action was restricted to validated premium installations in some updates.
Ensure you have the latest version of ChronoForms v8 installed, as this restriction has been removed for non-premium users in recent updates.

since I updated Chronoform to v8.0.17 I have this error:

"actions/save_data can be used on the frontend after validating your install"

And the forms no longer work. Can you help me?

Answer

Few form actions (Save Data is one of them) are a premium feature as in v7, they work on the admin area, but not on the frontend unless you validate your Chronoforms install

in the next update it should work again, I set the "Save data" action to work for non premium

since I have Installed and buy a premium Chronoform V8 and I have this error in Frontend:

"actions/save_data can be used on the frontend after validating your install"

My Install ist validated - feuerwehrakademie.de

Do you have v8 or v7 ?

Please use the contact form to send me a link to your form so that I can check this, the save data action should be working regardless of the validation if you have the latest update installed
