I've installed CF in version 8 but all my "Forms" don't appear, whereas they always do in version 7.
How can I get them back without starting from scratch?

Comment les récupérer sans tout refaire à partir de zéro ?

Not all functions of CF7 are yet available in CF8. We can therefore assume that migration will not be available in the medium term. I take advantage of the opportunity and set up all forms, over 50..., provided the functions are already available in CF8. CF7 and CF8 can be operated in parallel.

This is worrying and not very practical.
Can you imagine seeing all the other extensions not migrating old developments to the new versions (Blog, Forum, etc...)? That would be madness! So why doesn't Chronoforms do it?
I would like to have an answer from the Chronoforms developers... Is it possible to have an explanation? And if possible a planning estimate for this mignation tool if it is developed one day...

C'est préoccupant et pas très pratique.
Vous imaginez voir toutes les autres extensions ne pas migrer les anciens développements dans les nouvelles versions (Blog, Forum, etc...) ? Ce serait de la folie ! Alors pourquoi Chronoforms ne le fait pas ?
J'aimerai avoir une réponse de la part des développeurs de Chronoforms... Est-ce possible d'avoir une explication ? Et si possible une estimation de planning pour cet outils de mignation s'il est développé un jour...

Can I install CF7 and CF8 together in a Joomla CMS (for example Joomla 4.4)?

yes you can install them on the same website

Omg I have the same problem. 20 forms will require lot of work to remake them all in CF 8. Also many of them contain events etc.

Yes, I'm leaving my larger forms with lists, filters, search functions, pagination, notes, ratings, etc. on CF7 for now.

On my sub domain I have Joomla 5.0 + CF 7, but I am not able to edit the form fields. They don't open, if you know what I mean..

It works with the current version 7.0.12. Otherwise you have to open the Dev Tools console. Are there any errors displayed with tinyMCE?

Looks like my version is 7.0.11 and getting no update.
About DDev Toolls console, where to find this, not sure what that is?

When will the CF 7 to 8 converter be released?
I am planning to upgrade a Joomla site form 5 to 5, and I belive it is not possible to use CF 7 with this Joomla version.

v7 is Joomla 5 ready if you update it to 7.0.12

I'm working on a converter, but not sure when it will be ready as there is a demand for new v8 features to be added

Where can I find information about which CF 7 version I have installed?

Fredolino: that is simple:

in J4/J5: System, Manage - Extensions, search Chrono, and look at the version number.

In my case: Package 7.0.0, Component 7.0.12 (although I expect both numbers to be equal Max!)
