Just for your information: CF7 doesn't work with Joomla 5, but apparently it does with Joomla 4.4.

what about v8 ?

Well, I have already converted most of the forms to CF8. For the remaining CF7 forms I am missing the following functions:

Filter function via checkboxes and dropdown fields
Search function via text field
DB Read/Save - access to external databases
Pagination
Decode Json for Checkboxes Group

It seems that in CFv7 ChronoG3_Plg contains a plug-in that could cause the J5 upgrade to fail.
Can anyone say whether CFv8 works with J5

CF8 works with J5 and with PHP 8.0.x - 8.3.x

Only the TinyMCE is different between J4.4 and J5.

What speaks against J4.4.0?
