Icons in forms

How to add custom icons from Font Awesome 5 to a ChronoForms form.

Overview

The issue occurs because the user is typing an icon name that does not exist in the Font Awesome 5 set, so no icon is displayed.
Search for the correct icon name on the Font Awesome website, copy it, and paste it into the icon field in the CF form. The icon will appear when the form is tested.

Hello

For the icons in my form I will change the look of the these and add more icons for address and email. Is there a way to upload and embed my own icons?

Many thanks for any assistance🙂

Thanks for your answer and help. If I type "email" in the field, no icon for "email" is shown. Do you have any other idea to add this or other icons?

There is no icon with the name 'email' in the awesome 5 icon set.
Go to: https://fontawesome.com/v5/search and type 'email' in the search box. All email like icons are shown. Pick your icon and copy the name, e.g. 'envelope-open-text' to the clipboard. Go to your form and add the Interface behavior: Icon Place your cursor in the icon field and start typing the icon name, or paste the name from the clipboard.

CF7 will Add the icon name to the field, but will not show the icon. Test the form, the icon will appear... Yeah!
Hope this helps
