Language (PT) problem

gringo2008 05 Sep, 2008
Hi,

After 4h trying to figer this out I've to ask for your help!

I've installed this two language files:
pt-BR_Joomla_1.5_admin.zip
pt-BR_Joomla_1.5_site.zip

but can’t find a way to display characters like ‘ç’ ou ‘á’, only strange characters come out.

The strange thing is this

This are the options from the main page from Joomla Administration (in portuguese):

Site | Menus | Conteúdo | Componentes | Extensões | Ferramentas | Ajuda

when I select Forms Manager, the options from the main page turn to:

Site | Menus | Conteúdo | Componentes | Extensões | Ferramentas | Ajuda

It seems to me that in some way, the Chronoforms componente is not getting the correct language file.

Thanks for you help and Congrats for your great jobs

You can download it from here:

http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/portuguesebr/frs/

file: pt-BR_Joomla_1.5_admin.zip

Forgot to tell, I've got the same error, at least with this versions:
Chronoforms V3.0 BETA 2.zip
ChronoForms_V3.0_J1.5_BETA_1.zip
ChronoForms_V2.5_J1.5_RC3.1.zip

Cheers

Hi Max,

Sorry to be a pain, but do you have any news on my question?

Is there anything that I can do to help speed things up?

Thanks

You are right, I was lazy and missed one important test, meaning I’ve just tested the Chrono Forms with “Internet Information Services”, and it works fine, the problem only arises when I use “Movamp”, not sure if you know what is so leave you the link

http://en.kioskea.net/telecharger/telecharger-191-movamp

Only recently I started to use the Movamp environment, so most probably Is my mistake.

Gone to dig some more to find where the bug is!

Thanks for your time, and sorry for misleading to a false bug!

Hi gringo,

so its server config, I believe for development you should get XAMPP, thats the best PHP/Apache development environment I believe!
