E-mail control in my registration form

Alexito90 01 Sep, 2008
Hello!

I'm Italian (can you forgive me for my bad English! 😀 ) and I have done a registration form for my website (with HTML language).
I want to insert in this form,a function to control if the e-mail field is empty or not. I assume that is possible with JavaScript language, but I don't know this programming language.

Anyone can help me??

Thanks a lot!

Hi Alex, try the validation tab, it will do what you need, just read the blue tooltip balls!😉

I've tried it... I've enabled "validation" (the first voice of this tab) and I insert the field name (Indirizzo_e-mail) at the seventh voice (validate-email)... I've don any mistakes??

Else... what are "blue tooltip balls"??

Thank you for your patience,Admin!

No,it doesn't work... I've also followed the indication of the Blue Tooltip Icons (particularry, for this field,it's writed:"Put list of fields names separeted with comma *,* if more than one).

I don't understand where is the mistake... if you have ever used this function with success, can you show me a screen with compilated field?

I'm in your hands...thank you again!

hi Alex,

please paste some of your form code here and also a screenshot of both your general tab and validation tab, you have Chronoforms V3.0, correct ?
